Cassidy Mallett: tell me another moving story
Sam Melnick: hmmmm
Cassidy Mallett: about a dragon :)
Sam Melnick: There was once a dragon that lived in a magical land.
Sam Melnick: this magical land was called, "Mallett"
Cassidy Mallett: YAY
Sam Melnick: it was a place of beauty and tall mountains
Cassidy Mallett: were they red mountains?
Sam Melnick: not all of them
Sam Melnick: but the tallest one was
Cassidy Mallett: YAY
Sam Melnick: and at the base of that mountain was the city of Malletteson
Sam Melnick: now, the town people of malletteson didn't know about the cave about half way up the red mountain
Sam Melnick: that's where the dragon lived
Cassidy Mallett: nice i like this story already
Sam Melnick: well, you may begin to like it even more
Cassidy Mallett: YAY
Sam Melnick: the dragon was also very beautiful
Sam Melnick: she had scales the color of the sky just before sunset, a beautiful dark blue that hinted towards purple and black
Sam Melnick: and her eyes were as blue as the sky just before dawn
Cassidy Mallett: oooo
Cassidy Mallett: she sounds gorgeous
Sam Melnick: black with hints of purple and blue
Sam Melnick: her name was Cassidy
Cassidy Mallett: awe ur sweet
Sam Melnick: That's just how the story goes, silly
Cassidy Mallett: well i do really like it already
Cassidy Mallett: keep going :)
Sam Melnick: okay
Sam Melnick: so
Sam Melnick: Cassidy loved to watch the town people from her cave
Sam Melnick: she thought it was so fun to see them shop at fruit stands in the market
Sam Melnick: especially when they tried to bye apples the color of the grass at the bass of the mountain
Sam Melnick: *buy
Cassidy Mallett: wow
Sam Melnick: Those were her favorite ones
Cassidy Mallett: yes they are?
Sam Melnick: she would eat them after picking them at night
Sam Melnick: you see, she couldn't come out of her cave during the day
Sam Melnick: one day she had tried, but the townspeople began to panic
Sam Melnick: and this made Cassidy sad
Cassidy Mallett: awe :(
Sam Melnick: so she could only get her favorite apples at night
Sam Melnick: and becasue it was always so dark out, she would sometimes pick the wrong ones
Sam Melnick: the ones the color of the sun were too sweet
Sam Melnick: and the ones the color of the mountain were too sour
Sam Melnick: the ones the color of the grass had just the right balance of sweet and sour
Cassidy Mallett: sounds perfect
Sam Melnick: Now, one night when cassidy was picking apples, she heard a rustle in a bush nearby
Sam Melnick: Startled, she turned towrds the bush
Sam Melnick: she didn't see anything or anyone there
Cassidy Mallett: oooo scary
Sam Melnick: perhaps it was just the wind, she thought
Sam Melnick: as she continued to pick her apples
Sam Melnick: hoping that they were the ones the color of the grass
Sam Melnick: as she went to the next tree to look for apples, she heard another bush rustle
Sam Melnick: she turned, and saw a little figure rush out from behind the bush
Cassidy Mallett: gasp
Sam Melnick: she couldn't make out the shadow that she saw
Sam Melnick: slightly worried, she contintued looking for more apples
Sam Melnick: she didn't hear any more noises that night
Cassidy Mallett: 8O
Sam Melnick: she returned to her cave, wating for the morning
Sam Melnick: whent the morning sun rose above all of Mallett, cassidy woke from her slumber
Sam Melnick: she didn't find any apples the color of the grass
Sam Melnick: they were all the color of the sun
Cassidy Mallett: awe
Sam Melnick: just like as it rose from the distance
Sam Melnick: "the apples did appear a little bright that night," she thought to herself
Sam Melnick: "I'll try again tonight."
Sam Melnick: as the day went by, she continued to watch the townseople of Malletteson, espeically the market
Sam Melnick: as she watched, she saw a little figure run by
Sam Melnick: it ran from between one fruit stand to the other
Cassidy Mallett: who is it?
Sam Melnick: well, Cassidy couldn't tell
Sam Melnick: but it reminded her of the night before, with the figure that ran out from behind the bush
Sam Melnick: The sun began to set, matching the scales that graced Cassidy's body
Sam Melnick: it was time for her to begin searching for apples
Cassidy Mallett: yummy
Sam Melnick: she decided to try a different orchard tonight
Sam Melnick: "perhaps some darker apples might be the color of the grass," she thought
Sam Melnick: she searched through the orchard in the little light that was left from the moon
Cassidy Mallett: what happened?
Sam Melnick: well, she heard another bush rustle
Sam Melnick: she truned again, and saw a little figure run out from the bush
Sam Melnick: "it must be the same figure from the market," she thought
Sam Melnick: she went to the next tree, and a bush began to rustle before she could begin looking for more apples
Sam Melnick: she turned, and another bush rustled
Sam Melnick: Cassidy began to worry
Sam Melnick: more bushes began to worry
Sam Melnick: sorry, rustle
Sam Melnick: but it was only one bush at a time
Sam Melnick: Cassidy knew it must be the little figure
Sam Melnick: but she was very scared
Cassidy Mallett: 8O
Sam Melnick: out of fear, she dove towards a bush
Sam Melnick: she felt a bump
Sam Melnick: looked up, and saw a little face looking right into her eyes
Cassidy Mallett: gasp
Sam Melnick: just as suddenly as she first saw the little figure, the face ran away
Sam Melnick: Cassidy didn't see the figure, nor the face, at all that night
Sam Melnick: when the sun began to rise, matching the color of her eyes, she flew back to her cave
Sam Melnick: she was a little late to getting back to her cave
Sam Melnick: she dropped a few apples on her way back to the cave
Cassidy Mallett: oh no
Sam Melnick: when she got there, she saw that the apples she had left matched the color of the mountain
Sam Melnick: "those apples were dark," she thought
Sam Melnick: and she was sad
Cassidy Mallett: awe :'(
Sam Melnick: now, Cassidy had gotten back to the cave late
Sam Melnick: and she couldn't sleep well with the sun out
Sam Melnick: so she tried to take a few naps during the day
Cassidy Mallett: poor cassidy
Sam Melnick: she had trouble with the naps, and was hungry because she lost some apples the last night
Sam Melnick: and she couldn't see the market that day
Cassidy Mallett: ;(
Sam Melnick: "it must be Sunday," she thought, "the town is always so quiet on sunday."
Cassidy Mallett: how does she know what day each day is?
Sam Melnick: Cassidy is a smart dragon
Cassidy Mallett: ok :)
Sam Melnick: now, the sun did begin to fall and the sky matched the color of her scales
Sam Melnick: "wow, time to look for apples again?"
Sam Melnick: she thought
Sam Melnick: she decided to try another new orchard that night
Sam Melnick: when she got down to the trees, she had trouble focusing
Sam Melnick: she was very, very tired from the lack of sleep
Sam Melnick: before she could look at the trees, she dozed off
Cassidy Mallett: zzz
Sam Melnick: just like that!
Cassidy Mallett: sadness
Sam Melnick: Cassidy didn't know this, but she had slept the entire night lieing in an orchard
Sam Melnick: when she did wake up, there was the little face right in front of her!
Cassidy Mallett: awe
Sam Melnick: the face was startled and ran away
Sam Melnick: but when cassidy looked infront of her, there was a pile of apples the color of the grass
Sam Melnick: enough to last her for two whole days!
Cassidy Mallett: wow
Sam Melnick: quitely and carefully, Cassidy went back to her cave
Sam Melnick: she got back, and began to think of the face
Sam Melnick: because it was light, she got a good look of the face
Sam Melnick: it was the face of a young townsperson
Cassidy Mallett: huh i had no idea
Sam Melnick: their skin was light
Sam Melnick: and their eyes were the color of the bark of the tall trees in the orchards
Sam Melnick: there were little dots the same color scattered around the face
Cassidy Mallett: haha freckles
Sam Melnick: and the hair on the head was a mix of the color of the bark of the tall trees and of the mountain
Cassidy Mallett: a red head!
Sam Melnick: Cassidy had never seen such a face before
Sam Melnick: and she never forgot what that face looked like
Sam Melnick: the next night, Cassidy went to the same orchard as before
Sam Melnick: she heard a bush rustle, and there was a pile of apples the color of the grass waiting for her
Sam Melnick: she turned her head a bit more, and saw the face disappear behind the bush as the figure ran back towards Malletteson
Cassidy Mallett: im excited
Sam Melnick: this continued to happen the next few nights
Sam Melnick: but as time went on, the face become larger, and so did the figure
Sam Melnick: "Wow, it must have been years I've seen this face" Cassidy realized, noticing how it only seemed like a few nights
Sam Melnick: and as the face and figure grew taller, it became faster
Cassidy Mallett: how much faster?
Sam Melnick: and Cassidy couldn't see the face anymore
Sam Melnick: it was too fast
Sam Melnick: but she did notice something
Cassidy Mallett: what what?
Sam Melnick: in the market, there was a new stand
Sam Melnick: a stand full of apples the color of the grass
Sam Melnick: and there was a man working the stand
Cassidy Mallett: a red headed man
Sam Melnick: Cassidy looked at the face
Sam Melnick: sorry, the man
Sam Melnick: and then the man turned towards the mountain
Sam Melnick: it was the little face from years ago!
Sam Melnick: but the face was tall now
Sam Melnick: as was the figure
Sam Melnick: the face smiled, almost as if he could see Cassidy all the way from the market
Cassidy Mallett: awe
Sam Melnick: Cassidy continued to find piles of apples the color of the grass at night in that on orchard
Sam Melnick: but she only saw the face during the day in the market
Sam Melnick: and every day, the face would turn towards the mountain
Sam Melnick: and both Cassidy and the face would smile
Cassidy Mallett: awe
Sam Melnick: And that's the story of Cassidy the dragon, her apples, and the face from the town of malletteson
Cassidy Mallett: so they never exchanged names or anything?
Sam Melnick: well, she was a dragon
Sam Melnick: and he was a townsperson
Cassidy Mallett: so
Sam Melnick: they couldn't communicate in words
Sam Melnick: they spoke different tounges
Cassidy Mallett: oh :(
Sam Melnick: but through they're smiles, they communicated a beautiful friendship
Sam Melnick: a forbidden one
Sam Melnick: but beautiful none the less
